Coverage  The library has a good collection of material relating to the Diocese of Chester and the County of Cheshire in addition to its theological and other specialities.
Special Collections  Sander’s collection (c.400): books written by or about bishops and clergy of Chester diocese from c.1660. Chas Kingsley (Res. Canon of Chester) books. Bishop Wilson (Isle of Man): a few of his own C18 collection. Moulton library: about 250 small books used from 1840-1940 in a Congregational mission to a saltmining village in Northwich.
