The majority of the collection is on the ground floor but some parts are only accessible by steep stairs. There are no lifts in the building |

Not at present. The library is reference only. Researchers are welcome to visit as often as they wish. |

The Recusant Library has a collection of 12,000 catalogued items of Catholic interest, mostly books and collections of pamphlets, dating from c. 1470-1850. Access is strictly limited, but specified contents can be viewed by appointment. |
