| Oscott College is a seminary for the training of Catholic priests. The library is primarily for use |
| Reference only by appointment for non-registered users |
| The Librarian is available for 15 hours per week (M 10.30-17.00; Tu,Th,F 14.00-17.00). |
| However appointments are available outside these times, especially during College holiday |
| The majority of the collection is on the ground floor but some parts are only accessible by |
| steep stairs. There are no lifts in the building |
| The library is reference only. Researchers are welcome to visit as often as they wish |

| Books and journals covering all aspects of Catholic theology, catechesis, biblical studies, |
| religion and philosophy. Oscott was designed by Pugin and there are a number of books about |
| The Recusant library has a collection of 8,000 books and pamphlets of Catholic interest dating |
